Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk away from the orangutan and sun bear parks, making it easy to explore. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, giving a nice jungle vibe. Unfortunately, the service, especially from the restaurant staff, was disappointing, and several aspects of the hotel, including the pool and room conditions, left much to be desired. Overall, while the location is great, other factors make me hesitant to recommend this place.
I stayed at the lodge for one night and was really pleased with the stunning location, right next to the Orangutan Orphanage and Sun Bear Sanctuary. While the grounds had potential with beautiful lakes and lush vegetation, the room itself felt quite tired and in need of some updates. The service was decent, but the breakfast left much to be desired. Overall, it was an affordable option, but I hope to see improvements in the future before considering a second stay.
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel, surrounded by beautiful scenery and friendly staff. The proximity to the orangutans and sun bears made it an ideal location for nature lovers. While the resort could use some updates, especially in terms of room maintenance, the overall vibe was charming and relaxing. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind after a long day exploring.
My stay had its moments; the location is simply beautiful, nestled in the jungle with plenty of wildlife around, but the room and facilities left much to be desired. While I appreciated having working air conditioning and Wi-Fi, the overall cleanliness was lacking, and the hard beds made it difficult to get comfortable. The dining experience was also troubling, with poor food quality. It's a budget option, but I'd suggest staying only a night or two to enjoy the nearby attractions.
I enjoyed my stay, especially the peaceful atmosphere surrounded by gorgeous gardens. The restaurant was quite nice, and I appreciated the spacious rooms. However, the bathrooms need some improvements, and the pool could use a bit of upkeep. Overall, the location is perfect, just a short walk to the orangutan and sun bear centers.
